Three local high school seniors were presented scholarships at the 33rd annual Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union Golf Outing on May 16. The Rocco Montessano Scholarship Foundation, named for one of the credit union’s founders, awarded $7,500 in scholarship money in 2016. Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union recently teamed up with the Paramus Police Department and Detective James Teehan in support of a holiday toy drive. Each year, police officers deliver donated toys to families and organizations in need within the local community. Paramus officers and Santa Claus also visit Hackensack University Medical Center to distribute toys to sick children.
